Where Do I Buy an Aeration Pump?

Dave: I’m brewing my compost tea in a 5 gallon pail and have been using an aquarium pump with two air stones. I would like to buy a larger pump but do not know what type of pump, or where to buy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pumps for Compost Tea

Hi Rick,

The products in our store must be really hard to find because you’re not the first person to ask me this question. I’ll have to re-structure it.

Anywho, there are two different pumps available in our store. If you also need the tubing, there will be an additional charge tacked onto the price listed on the above page.

I own both of these pumps/motors and highly recommend the more expensive one. That’s not because it’s more expensive and I’m hoping you spend more money, it’s because the more expensive pump is much more quite and it will last much longer than the smaller green pump.

Let me know what you decide. If you find a pump elsewhere, please let me know that as well.
